Lord Huron sold out Boston’s MGM Music Hall at Fenway on August 3, 2025, delivering an enchanting chapter of The Cosmic Selector Tour - a cinematic storytelling journey that turned the venue into a glowing wanderer’s jukebox, with the moon hanging over Lansdowne Street like a celestial spotlight from the sky.
The night kicked off with a string of standout songs from their latest album, The Cosmic Selector Vol. 1, recently released on July 18th. The show opened with their first single, “Who Laughs Last,” featuring Kristen Stewart’s voice drifting softly through the speakers like a whisper from another world. The faint crackle of a vintage payphone set the mood as frontman Ben Schneider leaned into the receiver, using it as a microphone, pouring his heart into the powerful chorus and drawing the crowd deep into the story. The set then transitioned smoothly into the haunting track “Bag of Bones,” another shining gem from their new album.
As the show unfolded, Lord Huron’s production glowed with vibrant neon hues casting ethereal silhouette shadows. Captivating visuals shimmered across the backdrop, perfectly timed with strobe lights wrapped in vines hanging above the stage. Adding even more depth to the performance, a pair of “lonesome wanderer” dancers floated across the stage and drifted through the crowd, turning the concert into a fully immersive experience - each song revealing a new chapter in a haunting, restless saga.
Before stepping into their encore, Lord Huron wrapped the main set with two beloved fan favorites: the haunting “Meet Me In The Woods” and the heartfelt ballad “The Night We Met.” It was an unforgettable moment and one that left the crowd in awe, perfectly setting the stage for the show’s final act.
