The 12th Annual Levitate Music & Arts Festival returned to Marshfield for a weekend full of pure, surf-infused coastal magic—two days of music, art, and community under the golden July sun. With thousands of fans pouring in from all over New England, the festival grounds overflowed with excitement from the very first set.
Headliners Stick Figure and Dispatch lit up the main stage with soulful, high-energy performances that kept the crowd dancing, singing, and swaying together all weekend long. From emerging local acts to nationally acclaimed performers, the lineup delivered nonstop energy - blending indie, folk, jam-bands, reggae, etc. into a diverse, sun-soaked soundtrack that had something for everyone.
Beyond the music, Levitate pulsed with creativity and connection. Local artists added color to every corner with live mural paintings, while booths offered handcrafted treasures, dreamy art prints, henna designs, and sparkly mermaid glitter makeovers. Festival-goers cooled off with refreshing water served in coconuts, sweet Italian ice, and plenty of water refill stations throughout the grounds—while a variety of food trucks offered bites to fuel the fun all day long.
Standout performances lit up both the Style and Stoke stages. Still Woozy turned the Style Stage into a colorful groove session, blending indie-pop with funky rhythms that had fans dancing from start to finish. Meanwhile, Thundercat brought his signature cosmic sound to the Stoke Stage, mesmerizing the crowd with incredible bass work, fluid transitions, and a seamless blend of funk, jazz, and soul. Each brought a distinct vibe, delivering unforgettable sets.
Festival-goers floated bubbles through the air, tossed beach balls skyward, and lifted each other on shoulders—moments that embodied the festival’s community spirit and free-flowing joy. Whether lounging on picnic blankets and beach chairs or bopping from stage to stage, the weekend radiated a warmth that went far beyond the weather
True to its roots, Levitate was more than just a music festival—it was a celebration of creativity, music and togetherness. A tradition that keeps growing and evolving, the kind of weekend that fills your heart, leaves glitter on your cheeks, and stays with you like a sweet, sun-kissed memory long after the final note fades.
