Traveling 3,800 miles from Boston to Berlin for Radiohead’s sold-out European Tour felt dreamlike—one of those rare, fleeting moments you know won’t come around often. On December 12th, the fourth and final night of their Germany run, anticipation inside Uber Arena was pure electricity, every heartbeat carrying the thrill of what was about to unfold.
The band—Thom Yorke (vocals), Jonny Greenwood (guitar/keys), Colin Greenwood (bass), Ed O’Brien (guitar), and Philip Selway (drums)—opened the night with the driving pulse of “2 + 2 = 5,” immediately setting the tone. The 25-song setlist drew from across their catalog—“Everything In Its Right Place,” “There, There,” “Idioteque,” “All I Need,” “Ful Stop,” “Karma Police,” and more—flowing seamlessly from era to era without leaning too heavily on any one period.
The band moved across the circular stage in constant motion, turning Uber Arena into a full 360° experience where every seat felt in the action. Thom Yorke held the room in his grip, a magnetic presence steering each surge and lull of the performance. Jonny Greenwood carved out the sharper edges of the sound, while Ed O’Brien layered in depth and texture. Colin Greenwood and Philip Selway anchored everything with unwavering precision, keeping the machinery of the night running flawlessly.
It felt less like a finale and more like a continuation of a legacy—a band still deliberate in how they perform: focused, restrained, and consistent in intensity. Recent comments from Ed O’Brien hint at more to come, with plans for Radiohead to tour again in 2027, making this far from a closing chapter. In support of his forthcoming solo album, ‘Blue…Morpho’ releasing May 22, Ed O’Brien has also announced An Evening With Blue…Morpho, a seven-date UK and European tour this October.
