By Rickelle Hunt
HOZIER – UNREAL UNEARTH TOUR
FENWAY PARK – BOSTON, MA
SOLD OUT • JUNE 23RD & 24TH, 2025
Following the success of Unreal Unearth, Hozier opened Fenway Park’s summer concert series with two sold-out nights, transforming the historic ballpark into something closer to a cathedral. The album’s impact was clear and came alive, every song shared and felt by the thousands in attendance.
Opening the night, Gigi Perez delivered a stripped yet commanding set, with hits like “At The Beach In Every Life,” and “Sailor Song,” grounding the evening before it swelled into something larger.
As Hozier’s set unfolded, the atmosphere deepened, each moment carrying the emotional weight of Unreal Unearth. Lighting and arrangement created a world both whimsical and immersive. Touring in support of the album, the set leaned fully into its emotional core. “Francesca” surged with urgency, “Unknown / Nth” landed with quiet, devastating stillness, and “De Selby Pt. 2” struck with haunting intensity, each note echoed by the 37,000+ fans in attendance. The album’s emotional reach carried the entire stadium along with it.
Vocally, Hozier remained unwavering. His rich, gospel-leaning tone carried across Fenway, full-bodied and controlled, holding an intimacy that shouldn’t be possible at this scale. Even at its largest, the performance felt immediate and affecting, turning the stadium into a space alive with shared emotion.
As the show closed with “Work Song,” Hozier was joined by Gigi Perez for a stirring duet, the final notes soaring as fireworks exploded over Fenway. The night captured the weight and wonder of the Unreal Unearth era - emotional, expansive, and quietly magical.
