Minneapolis natives Household just released the music video for their latest single, “Dark Matter,” off their latest album, Everything A River Should Be. The quicker paced, sad track is coupled with a trippy, interesting to watch music video.
Capturing a relationship at its worst, “Dark Matter” has the perfect amount of angst and sadness wrapped up into one. The guitar driven track is coupled with perfectly placed bass riffs and drumming that accentuates everything perfectly.
The video is packed full of jump cuts, piecing together the story of how your brain feels after a break up. The rush of anger and sadness has emphasis in the slow-motion shots and flashing images between band members.
